What it is
Framer is a visual site builder. You design on a canvas and publish to the web, with a CMS and localization on higher plans. AI layout and copy features have been part of the product. It is for marketing sites and landing pages more than for application UI systems.
Framer has a free plan and paid site plans. Custom domains and CMS limits depend on the plan. Dollar amounts were not copied.
Why it ranks
- Canvas and hosting in one product
- Suited to marketing and landing pages
- Free plan to start a site
Watch outs
- Not a substitute for an application framework
- You are in Framer's hosting model if you publish there
